David Tennant stars as Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowell's character in the original) with Colin Farrell, in the remake of the 1985 Fright Night. The plot remains the same, with a boy discovering a vampire has moved in next door and enlists the help of showman Vincent to help him destroy it.
Generally, I am against remakes - but this was one they might even improve.

my 4 year old son has just noticed there's a picture of Dracula on his yoghurt (don't ask) and i explained he will turn into a bat and fly in through your bedroom window and bite your neck and turn you into a vampire. now he's asking what would happen if he bit Dracula back on the neck?
