Horror - Fright Night

David Tennant stars as Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowell's character in the original) with Colin Farrell, in the remake of the 1985 Fright Night.  The plot remains the same, with a boy discovering a vampire has moved in next door and enlists the help of showman Vincent to help him destroy it.
Generally, I am against remakes - but this was one they might even improve.
27/05/11 - I've just watched the trailer, and the original looks to be the better one.

  1. my 4 year old son has just noticed there's a picture of Dracula on his yoghurt (don't ask) and i explained he will turn into a bat and fly in through your bedroom window and bite your neck and turn you into a vampire. now he's asking what would happen if he bit Dracula back on the neck?
what the hell is the answer?!
oh and he asks what happens if he bites his tongue too.
was this covered in any of the Hammer classics?

    i hate kids.

  2. Regarding the biting of the tongue question, I refer you to 1961's The Terror of the Tongs
